Caring for our Community During COVID-19

Published on March 16, 2020

Dear Equal Hope Community:

These are difficult times as our global community is challenged with covid-19 (Coronavirus).

We want you to know that Equal Hope is doing everything we can to contribute to community wellness.

Here are the steps we are taking for our clients and navigators:

  • We are available for our clients, especially those confronting diagnostic testing or breast cancer treatment. Our navigators are ready to help those in need. They are diligently checking their voicemails and emails so that our clients have access to the support they desire.
  • Our navigators and staff have been given the option to work remotely, and all of our meetings for the next two weeks will be conducted virtually.  This option will likely be extended to meet the appropriate health standards.

To those of you who support Equal Hope with your generous funds:

These challenging times mean that we have had to adjust our outreach efforts. In-person meetings and small donor events are currently on pause. We hope to resume soon, but if you are able to support our mission by contributing today, it will guarantee that our services continue through this difficult time.

As a community we come together during challenging times and we are here for each other. We are here for you.

Sincerely,

Anne Marie Murphy, PhD
Executive Director
