Kendra Julion is the Community Organizer and Engagement Specialist at Equal Hope. Kendra’s responsibilities at Equal Hope includes developing strategic partnerships with community-based organizations and stakeholders, creating Equal Hope’s youth engagement program, managing outreach events, and contributing to Equal Hope’s organizing and advocacy plan for health equity.
Kendra has over 12 years of experience as a community health professional. Kendra has experience tracking and maintaining high retention rates as a research assistant on community-based research grants at both Rush University and Northwestern University. Kendra also has extensive experience designing family and community engagement strategies, including fostering collaborative opportunities with nonprofit organizations and evaluating the impact of community-based programming. Kendra earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Master of Science in Health Communications from Northwestern University.
