Margarita Moreno

Bilingual Patient Navigator

Margarita has 12 years of health care experience and has expertise in women’s health. As a Bilingual Patient Navigator, Margarita helps women navigate a fragmented healthcare system to get the breast and cervical cancer care they need to thrive. She coordinates screening appointments, follows up with health provider partners, and attends community-based events to provide health outreach and education to community members. Margarita worked as a Women’s Health Promoter for a non for profit health care clinic, and Patient Technician in the labor & Delivery unit for 6 years where she was also able to start a community drive project to assist women, and families in need.

Margarita received her CNA certification in 2018 to pursue a nursing career. Margarita joined Equal Hope in January 2020 as a Bilingual Patient Navigator where she navigates and guides women in their health care journey, which also include breast and cervical screenings. Margarita is now pursuing her Master’s degree in Nursing with the goal of focusing on women’s health, and plans to continue helping the community by hosting community drives throughout the year.
