Equal Hope’s Breast Cancer Screening and Follow-Up Program connects women to high-quality facilities in the Chicagoland area.
We believe access to high-quality screening is critical to reducing racial disparities in breast cancer mortality. Patients have a 99% chance of survival if breast cancer is detected early via a screening mammogram before symptoms persist. With this program, Equal Hope helps women overcome access barriers to high-quality care.

Equal Hope’s Reproductive Screening and Follow-Up Program connects women to health centers in the Chicagoland area.
Cervical cancer screening is a part of a woman’s health checkup and includes are two types of tests: the Pap test and the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) test. The Pap test (or Pap smear) looks for pre-cancerous cell changes on the cervix. The HPV test looks for the virus that can cause these cell changes.
Equal Hope outreaches to women all across Metro Chicago, particularly areas with the highest occurrences and death rates for breast and reproductive cancer.
Our staff educate the public on the signs and symptoms of these diseases, what you can do to prevent or lower your risk of certain specified women’s health issues, the benefits of screening to find pre-existing or early cancer, what you should know about these screens, and much more.
