Triple Negative Breast Cancer: It’s a Black Thing, We Need to Understand

This event is designed to increase knowledge among Black women of their risk for triple negative breast cancer, the importance of early detection, explain clinical trials participation and share available resources to support women along their cancer journey. Names of all attendees will be entered into a drawing for a $500 gift card. The winner must be present to claim the prize.

Did you know African Americans have the highest rate of colorectal cancer than any racial/ethnic group in the United States? Come learn more about signs and symptoms, risks factors and how to get screened for colon cancer. Free gift and refreshment for all who attend. Community Health Worker, Lydia, will be there!

National Kidney Foundation of Illinois Health Fair

Come attend the adults-only health fair! Equal Hope’s Bilingual Community Health Worker, Veronica, will be there signing people up for our free services. There will be health screenings and a health care professional on-site.

Breast Cancer Party in Pink

Equal Hope’s very own Community Engagement Manager, Dana Divine, will be co-hosting this event at Club La Vue Bar & Grill! Wear pink, walk the runway and bring a picture of your loved one. There will also be vendors.
