Same tasty tour, new name in 2025 – The Equal Hope Pink Plate Tour
Join the Equal Hope Pink Plate Tour and serve up hope and support for breast cancer patients in Cook, Lake, and Will Counties. This unique culinary tour will raise awareness of breast cancer, the importance of screening and early detection, and generate funds to connect thousands of uninsured and underinsured patients with comprehensive care at Chicago-area cancer centers of excellence.
If you are a restaurant or organization passionate about women’s health, join the 2025 Equal Hope Pink Plate tour and help us continue the fight for equal health access.
This unique event combines culinary experiences with charitable giving, allowing us to make a difference one meal at a time. Restaurants on the tour donate 10% of proceeds from chosen date(s) in October. These proceeds will directly fund healthcare and wellness services to those in need.
Breast cancer remains a significant health concern in our community:
• In Illinois, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death in women
• In Illinois, breast cancer incidence rates are highest in Black and White women and lowest in Hispanic women, and mortality rates are highest in Black women and lowest in Hispanic and Asian or Pacific Islander women
These statistics underscore the urgent need for increased awareness, early detection, and improved access to care.
You will play a crucial role in combating breast cancer! Proceeds from restaurants will directly support Equal Hope’s mission to provide essential healthcare and wellness services to those in need.
Will provide 60 days of support-related expenses for a breast or cervical cancer patient
Will help 20 uninsured individuals to establish a medical home and access primary care
Will sponsor a community member to participate in our Health Ambassadors Program teaching young people about health care advocacy and community organizing
Will assist with the costs of community outreach efforts including flyers, social media promotion and more

Plus, your involvement positions your restaurant as a champion for health equity, helping to elevate your brand while boosting business.
