On June 3, we will gather in vibrant celebration – honoring the strength, beauty, and resilience of cancer thrivers, survivors, and caregivers. Together we will cultivate new connections across the Equal Hope community and recognize leaders whose dedication helps our work flourish.
Guests can expect an uplifting evening filled with joy and memorable moments – an immersive garden of insight, celebration, and purpose as we join in clearing pathways to life-saving healthcare.
This signature event will raise essential resources for Equal Hope to ensure equal access to comprehensive cancer and primary care for all.

Cancer disparities continue to impact underserved communities across our region. Many individuals face barriers to life-saving screenings, early diagnosis, treatment, and support.
The Celebrating Life Benefit helps ensure that those barriers do not stand between someone and the care they deserve.
In 2025, Equal Hope made a profound difference across Cook, Lake, and Will Counties:
Individuals reached through community outreach
Individuals educated through health education programs
Patients supported through clinical navigation services
Hundreds connected to primary care medical homes
Hundreds provided transportation to critical medical appointments
These outcomes represent thousands of lives touched by care, compassion, and equitable access to healthcare.
Will provide 60 days of support-related expenses for a breast or cervical cancer patient
Will help 20 uninsured individuals to establish a medical home and access primary care
Will sponsor a community member to participate in our Health Ambassadors Program teaching young people about health care advocacy and community organizing
Will assist with the costs of community outreach efforts including flyers, social media promotion and more

The night was special! It brought together a powerful community of survivors, advocates, and change-makers united in the mission to advance women’s health equity. From emotional storytelling to captivating exhibits and impactful research presentations, guests experienced the full scope of Equal Hope’s mission — through her eyes, her words, and in her steps.
The evening celebrated progress, honored courageous survivors, and sparked meaningful conversations about the urgent need for equitable access to breast and gynecological cancer care. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, critical funds were raised to expand life-saving screening programs and deepen our impact across underserved communities. This unforgettable night was more than a fundraiser — it was a movement in motion.
