In 2023, Healthy Illinois is working to close the remaining gap and win coverage for ALL low-income Illinois residents, regardless of immigration status. Illinois made history in 2020 by becoming the first state to provide Medicaid-like coverage to people aged 65+, regardless of immigration status! In 2023 Illinois must close the gap and provide coverage for all! Illinois can be the first state to implement universal health insurance for low-income residents, regardless of immigration status.
